About
“Once A Badger, Always A Badger”
“This is my last change to the Badger web site. I will be history very soon! Someone else will have to step up to the plate and take a swing at it! I think I’ve made it easy enough.” Posted sometime in 2009
The “present” – November 3, 2013
This was one of the last postings made by the original Webmaster. I took over the site on 10/15/2009, even though I didn’t understand very much about being a Webmaster. I just didn’t want the domain name to go up for sale to the public, fearful that it could fall into “bad” hands. I’ve read various tutorials and instructional materials here, as I have had the time, to try and learn enough to properly run the site. I’ve also posted on various other “blogs” the need for helping me to keep it going.
I have recently added a couple of pages regarding deceased BHS Alumni – both teachers and students. I also recently have had someone that will potentially be my “partner in crime”, so you will probably see further changes to the website in the next few months. As soon as I can finish my deceased list – which is the result of an exhausting search of the classes of 1935 – 1965 – I will post it under a new page – Classmates. This will be under the main heading of Fallen Alumni (formerly Fallen Classmates).
On the left column of the page I am changing the sub-heading – Classes – to Class Reunions. For some time there have been several “classes” listed there, but they no longer have any information listed in them, so I will soon delete them. Except the 1970 – 1994 page, which does have some info in it. Anyone wanting to post class reunion information can do so by contacting the Webmaster (for how, see the bottom of the page).
ABOUT THE OTHER PARTS OF THE SITE. When you first come to the website the first thing you should do is go to Guestbook and post your information – any and everything you want your classmates to know about you. First and foremost, is your CLASS YEAR. Your mailing address is probably just as important, even if you post your email address (see the bottom of this page on how to more safely post it – like the Webmaster address). Most people will change their email address more often than their mailing address, so it is good to post both. Please remember this is what the Guestbook is for – posting enough of your personal information so your classmates can find you.
The place to carry on conversations is Badger Speak, though for authentications sake, I may change that to Badger Growls. Post most anything about Bishop here. Somebody you’re looking for, baseball/football scores, lets meet, etc. Just about anything you want other BHS Alumni to know about. That’s what the site is all about.
AND, don’t forget to pass it around that the old The Badger site is once again open for business, good or bad – hopefully it is for the better! If you have suggestions, comments, questions, whatever, you can always contact the Webmaster as shown below. Just replace the information between the *’s with the normal email address marks and send me an email.

Glad to see you resurrecting the site, Roxy. You’re keeping it going for the same reasons that I kept it going from a previous Webmaster … tradition.
